"We arrived to a very clean cabin. It was well used but felt welcoming and you had the feeling that things were updated some. We noticed a few things that needed attention such as a light flickering non stop (too high for us to fix). The lighting in the cabin seemed a little dark overall. The front steps are definitely becoming a hazard and will need to be re-done soon. Overall, no complaints and it was a very relaxing stay. Our only major issue had nothing to do with our cabin. "The deck is the star of this property. Everyone in our group from teens to a nearly 80 year old loved just sitting out on the deck, watching the ducks, turtles, and fish that reside near the shore. The living room was big enough for us, and we were able to spread out in different areas of the house to sleep."

"I was on a trip passing through several states and two days before my reservation the manager called me saying that they were having problems with the hot water in the middle of winter and that he could not rent me the room. I understood the case and said it was ok for him to refund the reservation, but to this day they have never refunded me. This is fraud."
