"We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "Staff are great, both the breakfast service and dinner service were above what I would expect. They are always looking to help, they are very polite and easy to talk to. The staff on the desk were very welcoming and made the process of booking in very easy, answered any questions and needs we had, which is very nice. Room is very relaxed, a lot of really nice lighting choices. The bathroom is big and very modern and clean, mirror is a standout in that respect, very good. They provide a kettle, tea, coffee and decaf. And ironing board, iron, hairdryer and place for your suit. They have a TV with lots of channels, one for movies being broadcast at the time. They had bedside tables, a table for eating, and a desk for sitting at. The room has double locks, a rotating lock and a 'deadbolt' it just operates a bit differently than a normal one. Places to hang up coats. They come in to clean daily and you can have towels changed when you wish. Elevators are quick and nice. Overall very impressed."
