"The house was very cosy and in great condition. The location is great and its so handy to have parking. If you have a big car it may be a little tight. I have a Volvo V90 which fitted but only just."

"Lovely stay. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Vicky was always on hand when needed and communication was great - super quick! Loved coming outside to the chickens and seeing the horses when we arrived. We had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend/return!"

"Great for our party of 13 as there was plenty of room for us all and the kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment ,plates and glasses etc. Some of the rooms and areas look a bit tired and could do with an upgrade (stair carpets, walls painting and floors could be cleaner downstairs) but bathrooms clean and beds comfy. it’s also great to have the farm shop and the pub next door is great - very friendly and helpful and lovely pub meal and service."

This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. "The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

Busy but quiet

"Busy hotel but extremely quiet room. Usually you hear the corridor door slam every time someone passes through, or their footsteps on the floor. The room we had was silent! We couldn’t hear people or cars at all. We had the Superior King room and it was so lovely and spacious. The breakfast was great too!"

Like home from home and the good old days

"What an excellent place i will be returning and staying in these quaint but rustic and beautiful hotel. The rooms were bigger than an average size, the bar and restaurant was wonderful sitting next to a slow burning fire just like the good old days as a child. Food was exceptional the staff were second to none and couldn’t do enouh for you. Breakfasts were plentyful and hot."
