Our requirements included: 1. Sandy beach with gradual depth so the grandkids could play...check! 2. Clear water so we could swim off the pontoon boat or dock...check! 3. Lake that's large enough to pull a raft behind the boat, but not over crowded with boaters...check! 4. A large, clean property...check! This house...

They left us a bottle off wine and chocolates and came to check to see if we needed anything the next day. Great people I could see us being friends with. "We decided last minute to get away for a quick, midweek relaxation trip. We now wish we’d booked this cabin for a week! Check-in was a breeze, the cabin was spotless, and the western facing view of the lake was gorgeous at every hour of the day. The cabin is set back on a picturesque, tree-framed road with little to no traffic. We enjoyed morning walks with our coffee, and late nights around the campfire with our cocktails. (All firewood was provided!) We just can’t say enough great things...

"Beautiful cabin on a sweet little lake. Very remote. I spent the weekend with just my pup. Great place, decorated perfectly, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. If you need to get way from all the noise of the world, this is your place!"

"The cabin was nice, we hoped to fish the lake but after arriving we learned that the lake is drained down 4 feet starting in September (not sure if this is yearly) so we were unable to launch our boat. We did find another lake close by to fish and found some big ones! The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and kids loved playing with the toys they had."

I also didn't realize that it is so close to town, basically in town but everything about the place was phenomenal and well-cared for and clean. Beautiful little location. Thanks Matt! "Overall it was a nice stay ,we were out exploring things so we were not at the house alot but when we were there it was comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay there I wish the weather would’ve been warmer so we could experience the lake a little bit more, but it was still a nice stay"

"Came for a business meeting and needed no frills, so picked the cheapest place I could find. When they handed me a brass key and not a magnetic card, I was a bit worried. Don't let the older style of this building fool you. This had the feel of a 1970s motel but was really clean and comfortable. The room had the 'Northern Woods' decor seen in a lot of places in Hayward, so it was cozy and woodsy. Pretty view of the river and super close to everything. Pleasantly surprised."
