"We were going up to northern Wisconsin to go Side-by-side trail riding on all their spectacular and great trails. We wanted to find some place that would allow us to leave our trucks and trailers. This cottage even had a garage that we could use which was very convenient. We wanted to located near the trails and cottage was. "Place was unique and cozy. Owners were kind enough to have the lights on as we arrived at night and couldn't see. They left us a bottle off wine and chocolates and came to check to see if we needed anything the next day. Great people I could see us being friends with. Beautiful property will definitely stay there again."

"the room was clean but in need of some updating and minor repairs such as new caulking in bath/shower area. I was in a room that had the bars in tub area for easier access and a higher toilet that I liked plenty of room in both bathroom area and sleeping area. Food served there was good but a bit pricey. It was located in a good central area to access to other places of interests"

"This is our second year staying at the Deer Trail lodges. We have loved our experiences so much that we are trying to start a tradition of going every year. The cabin is rustic and cozy. One of my favorite memories is going down to the dock and a tching the stars. We enjoyed kayaking, bonfires, watching movies with cider, and just being in a "fall" oriented space. "
