"This place was perfect. We had a top floor ocean view, and I would not do that differently. The pool was beautiful, the view was beautiful. It was mostly very quiet. There was an easily walkable path along the beach, really lovely. Everything you needed in the apartment was there and it’s easy to get to the little supermarket nearby. We did have a car, of course, and parking was perfect and easy. We were on the fourth floor, and there was a very handy elevator. Everything was super comfortable, the air-conditioning was beautiful. We did have an electrical problem that knocked out half of the outlets and appliances, which happened on the last weekend that we were there, but it barely bothered us. We still had one Air conditioner, which kept the apartment comfortable. We did lose the ability to cook in our apartment, but refrigerator had not been affected. But half of the electric outlets were out. This was fixed the day before we left. I’m sure it could’ve been repaired on Saturday But the owners said they would call someone on Monday. And no compensation was offered for our inconvenience for the 3 days without power. But that’s one of those things that can just happen. I would rent this place again, in a minute! "

"A beautiful week spent at Blue Lagoon Resort in a studio apartment overlooking the poolwhich was clean and met all our needs. Lovely mornings and cool evenings spent on the balcony overlooking the pool. Great, central location to base ourselves for the week to explore the local area. A nice range of local eateries and shops all within walking distance added to the appeal. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming offering various suggestions and recommendations for the local area. We'll definitely be back to the Blue Lagoon on our next trip to the Cairns region. "
