"This is a beautiful property. I was visiting family in Piacenza for 6 days and Domus San Martino felt like a home away from home. The manager, Enrico, is friendly, efficient and kind and upgraded me for the second part of my stay to a huge room with a balcony and big bathroom. "Decent budget hotel very close to train station and only a short walking distance from the city centre. The room was spacious and I slept well thanks to it being quiet. The hotel needs refurbishing and the bed made creaking noises whenever I moved and wasn't particularly comfortable. Although the landlady assured me that it was a quick walk to the center of town, it is not one you would want to repeat more then twice a day, as it is located among apartments outside of the main town.
