Perfect one night stay
We booked to stay for the night at the end of a 10 day holiday in SA. It was the perfect ending to our vacation: the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms tastefully and luxuriously furnished, the staff attentive, and the grounds beautifully maintained. The pool area is also a quiet oasis. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Beautiful Stay
Steenberg is a beautiful winery with lovely accommodation and great staff. You get a free wine tasting as well. There are 2 on site restaurants - Tryn and Bistro Sixteen82. Tryn is more catered to a fine dining feel, but we felt the Bistro was the better restaurant, for lunch or dinner, but still recommend both. The rooms are large and attention to detail is great, but there was a little bit of noise from the next door room (nothing over the top, but just something that they could look to imrpove). Also, the tin roof cracks and creaks with changes in twmperature through the day. Having said that, we would definitely return and definitely recommend it. The spa is also lovely and very reasonable! And finally, the vineyards themselves are truly stunning and the walking trail through and around them is highly recommended! The staff were also absolutely fantastic and would do anything for you!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem und herzlichem Service in sämtlichen Bereichen (Hotel, Restaurant, Spa). Schönes und gemütliches Zimmer im Manor House. Toller beheizter Außenpool, der problemlos in der kühleren Jahreszeit zum Schwimmen einlädt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und weitläufig. Daher bestens zum Spazieren oder Joggen geeignet. Golfplatz direkt neben dem Hotel. Tolle Auswahl beim a la carte Frühstück, sehr gute Qualität und überaus lecker. Auch das Mittagessen (gleiche Karte wie abends) im Tryn Restaurant war sehr lecker. Darüber hinaus gab es eine gut sortierte Weinkarte. Auch die Cocktails im Lounge Bereich des Tryn waren sehr gut. Gute Lage um die umliegenden Weingüter zu erkunden. Wir haben uns über den gesamten Aufenthalt sehr wohl und umsorgt gefühlt. Beste Wahl für eine Unterkunft in der Nähe Kapstadts, Constantias. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt!
