"Very difficult to get to - hour and a half of bumpy roads to Carate, then a 3.5k hike. The logistics were not well communicated, but worked out fine. Hot (mid-April visit). The grounds are pretty special with spider monkeys frolicking in the trees right above the tents and ocean waves supplying 24-7 ..."

"The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience."

"Beto, the groundskeeper, was wonderful! Full of information and helpful. Loved his sweet little dog, Miraposa (Butterfly), even though I'm usually a cat person. Short walk to beach. Remember, this is glamping. It was easy to adjust to using the solar electricity as we have an RV and it's same idea. ..."

"We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri.
