"Very quiet area, but not in a very nice area. The cottage was very basically furnished however it served a purpose for an overnight stay. "

"The photos of this property do not match. On arrival the building had broken glass taped up, no direction where to find a key, no support with trying to contact for help. Car park had people being erratic. Room itself smelt of smokers. The bed was ruffled. The bottom sheet not ironed. Paint was coming off the walls in the rooms. "The house is amazing - historic and yet feels like home. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. The breakfast items and little touches were very welcome, including having a Christmas tree to decorate with family. Pool was very welcome given the warm weather. Would stay again."

Excellent Stay

"Really good experience. We arrived late of night around 10.30 pm and have no problem finding the property due to owner’s clear instructions. Mike is very nice and friendly and kindly enough to let us to leave our dog in the property when we have to visit friend in hospital. The yard is big and our small dog is happily running around and become dead tired at night and sleep soundly, really recommend this place and we will come again. A very small feedback though, it will be nicer if the grass are not that long. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed the serene atmosphere in and around Ulmarra, complemented by the warm hospitality of both the hotel staff and the local community. The hotel room and bathrooms were impeccably clean, and I had a great time savouring a beer with pizza at the bar while watching our favourite game, cricket."
