Casa Azul is a furnished 3 storey townhouse on the Green 4 community, a small community of only 41 houses, overlooking the prestigious Nuevo Portil golf course. Our rental registration number is: VTF/HU/00027
Casa Azul has full air con, hot and cold making it suitable for year round holidays in this unspoilt corner of Spain.
10 minutes walk to local shops and restaurants and the glorious 14 km of beach.
Casa Azul is south facing so has the added benefit of all day sun, partial covered patio with large table and six chairs and parasol.

There are several bread shops (also sell small selection of groceries, open year round), small supermarket, bars/restaurants and beach within 10 minutes walk of the casa' .

There are larger supermarkets in Punta Umbria. and Cartaya, short car journeys.

English Newspapers can be purchased locally at several hotels.

GOLF.
Compared to the western Algarve and the Costa del Sol, Costa de la Luz, Huelva and the Eastern Algarve are as yet “undiscovered.” Green fees are lower, the courses less crowded and less busy, making it much easier to get a start time that you want and to play a round in reasonable time and without delay.
Nuevo Portil
The course offers 18 golf holes par 71 in it’s 5841 metres lay out. Small slopes and some dog legs make it perfect to walk and very entertaining. Excellent facilities- training field close to hole 1, large putting green and chipping green. Golf club rental, private or group lessons, manual or electric trolley9s. Plus all the services of a high quality four star hotel.
El Rompido
5 minutes by car. 36 holes on 2 courses, South Par 72 over 6148 metres and North(New) Par72 over 6095 metres, surrounded by the natural marsh of Las Marismas del Rompido and some fantastic views of the Atlantic.

A very pleasant stay in a cozy villa
A very pleasant stay in a cozy villa. The villa is in a very quiet neighborhood, well located, close to supermarkets and bakeries for everyday shopping. Access to the beaches is easy, either by car or on foot. Check-in was very easy and the local manager was friendly and available. The surroundings are very pleasant and well maintained. Only two points for improvement: the collective wireless service is very slow, with frequent outages which makes access very difficult. It would be worth checking. The swimming pool, which is supervised, is very quiet and clean. However, it has bizarre opening hours in September: it only opens at 12 noon. In the afternoon it closes at 7pm, when it's still sunny and warm. IN any case, the stay was fantastic.

La casa está muy bien, grande y limpia, tiene aire acondicionado y ventiladores, el acceso a la psicina estupendo, la playa se puede ir andando, pero nosotros hemos prefiero coche por cómodidad. Supermercado cerca y sitios para comer. Hemos estado muy bien, la recomendamos .

Buen alojamiento pero mal gestionado
Debo decir que la casa está muy bien ubicada y en una urbanización preciosa y muy tranquila, además de muy bien equipada. La dueña mantuvo una actitud atenta, pero la persona que lleva el mantenimiento no. Le comunicamos un problema de la limpieza, que dejaba mucho que desear (paredes sucias, pelos y pelusas, cojines manchados,..) y no solo no nos lo solucionó, sino que puso en entredicho que así fuera. Tuve que limpiarlo yo misma para estar agusto durante mi estancia, a pesar de ser un servicio que ya va incluído en el precio. En líneas generales, muy buena vivienda si mejorasen aspectos muy importantes de limpieza.

Un lugar estupendo.
Un apartamento estupendo en un entorno muy agradable. La atención excelente. Se estropeó la batidora y la repusieron al dia siguiente. Estuvimos dos semanas y al finalizar la primera vinieron a limpiar y cambiar sábanas. La piscina genial, con el acceso directo desde la terraza. Hemos estado muy cómodos. La playa un poco lejos para ir andando, pero en coche se puede ir a playas cercanas y maravillosas. Recomendables la de La Bota y Nueva Umbría (hay que coger un ferry).

Correcto. La casa necesita notables mejoras de mantenimiento: los plomos se saltaban continuamente, bombillas fundidas, ventanas correderas no corren, frigorífico estropeado y vitrocerámica en pésimo estado... en general la vivienda y la urbanización reúnen buenas condiciones. Repetiríamos solo si se solucionan los problemas citados anteriormente.

Casa ideal para ir con niños, la propietaria es encantadora e intenta aceptar siempre cualquier sugerencia. Si hay q poner alguna pega, quizás sea el sofá-cama, el colchón es muy incomodo. Un sitio para repetir.

Lovely home with all you need
We spent 3 wonderful weeks in the house. Everything we needed was present and the pool was perfect. Also the location is ideal. In the hot summer months, El Portil is just a few degrees less hot which makes it very pleasant. And it is really a 10 minutes walk for the promenade or the beach. We certainly want to come back here again.
