"It was very cute and homely, however the interior design was a little bit outdated but nothing which impacted the stay. The initial directions given were a little bit confusing but once we asked the reception we were guided to the right path. "If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. "The hotel appeared a bit old from the exterior but our room was actually in an upgraded area of the hotel and was quite comfortable. We even had a view of the old city centre on the hill. The location is fabulous as it's close to the funicular to the old town as well as being close to the city centre and the train station. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Overall, great stay!"
