"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Pensione Monti, the staff were all lovely and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful during our stay. The hotel itself is good. It has a great pool with lovely views of the island. Using the thermal spa at the bottom of the hotel was great—it has a sauna, a thermal bath, and a hot and cold small pool. "The staff, cleanliness and view were amazing! Felt extremely safe and welcomed at all times. Only negative was that the walls are paper thin to the point where the whole room echos if someone flushes the toilet next door. Other than that unfortunately I did not get a sea view as there was a pine tree in the way but the positive was that my balcony was private. Would recommend, just not if you are a light sleeper like I am. "

"This is a lovely spa - amazing people who run the hotel. In the shoulder season of October - it's not a super busy area and feels a little isolated. For spa treatments - superb! If you are looking for walking restaurants or any shopping - this is not the area. This is truly a 'spa' and so enjoy their many many treatments - because they really cater to you. Then take a taxi to the other areas for food, activity, shopping:)"

"We had a lovely time. The 10 pools (8 thermal) were excellent but we were disappointed to find out our 7 and 9yr olds could not go into the thermal pools so were limited to 2 pools and the sea. Not a huge deal and we undersood the rationale but still disappointed. The food at one of the restaurants was surprisingly good (we had breakfast and dinner there all 3 nights). Our room had a great view. And while some areas felt a bit rundown, you're getting what you pay for and you're in Italy!"
