"Overall 5 stars but I do want to give a few pointers… if you get there after dark know that the parking will be before you reach the actual hotel building. It’s dark so it will be a little challenging for you to recognize. Once you find the parking it will be super easy. "Easy hotel to locate and park. A very warm welcome from the host with all procedures well explained. This hotel has an elevator to take bags up to rooms. Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a good size and works well. We slept very well and ate a lovely continental breakfast each morning with espresso coffees. We certainly enjoyed our stay and are considering a return stay. Excellent value for your Euro and a worthwhile stay. Thank you Robert. "

"The hotel was decent but the reception wasn’t open 24 hours so if you’re arriving late (around 11pm or so), you’ll always have to knock and wake up whoever is in there. There was one night that I almost didn’t get into the hotel because no one was at the reception and the main door was locked. Luckily, a woman who was also staying there arrived and called his boyfriend and unlocked the door for us from the inside. There was also a small spark or kind of a little explosion in one of the sockets...

Beautiful old building and comfortable

"I was very happy with my stay at this location of a Parador. My room was large and had plenty of room to spread out. The room retained the style of the building. One strange thing was that the chairs for sitting were really short. Breakfast buffet was nice and had lots of choices plus you could order omelets and espresso drinks. I wish the restaurant opened at 7am"

"Beautifully decorated property in a wonderful, vibrant, walkable neighborhood. This property is comfortable, spacious, stylish— and just NICE. New furnishings, new finishes, and quality throughout. Had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean. I especially loved being on the 3rd floor (4th for us Americans), with three sets of double doors that opened onto miniature balconies (not a balcony where you could sit, but with a railing that turned the living room, dining room, and bedroom into delightful indoor/outdoor spaces. I could bring the outdoors inside, and feel the energy of the city without leaving the apartment. And, yes, there is an elevator, so it was easy to get luggage to the apartment. This is a great place!"

Wonderful stay!

"We were in Vigo for three nights on our way from Paris to Lisbon. This has been the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The room was spacious, with built ins and shelves easily accommodating toiletries and clothes. the Queen bed really comfortable and two pillows of different styles - very comfy. The first morning we were late to breakfast - but the supervisor made sure that the full selection was available - fresh orange juice (you see them being squeezed) reasonable coffee, fresh fruit, cereal, meats and cheese, tomato, toast, rolls, pastries - the lot. Meanwhile, every trip to explore, we checked ideas with the reception. They provided terrific advice - from using the travelator on Gran Via to get to Castro Park, to finding good places to eat. A thoroughly wonderful few days - unexpectedly excellent"

Open views and perfect location

"The property has huge bay windows and no buildings blocking your view of the estuary. It is by the Vigo Uzaiaz train station and taxi stand. There is an activity park across the street and a boardgame store on the same block. Easy walk to old town and Castelo do Castro"
