5/5 - Excellent
Unmissable, extraordinary. Watch out for being overcharged - there was no price displayed at admission kiosk but website states €3, we were charged €4 and not given a ticket, unlike just about everywhere else...

Just gruesome. I didn't want to go and wish I didn't.
This is in one of the worst areas of Palermo and it looks like they don't invest the tourist wisely .
Not for the faint-hearted! I enjoy macabre things and thoroughly enjoyed the catacombs in Paris but this is a whole other level and whilst it was extremely interesting, it did disturb me a little and I walked around as quickly as possible so that I could leave. It's a bit of a walk away from the nearest bus stops so be prepared for that, but definitely an interesting and quirky place to visit outside of the usual tourist spots.
