"What a wonderful place to stay. A delightful old farmhouse filled with artefacts of a bygone age, almost a living museum. Loads of space, inside and out. We enjoyed short walks to the local cafe and longer walks up and down the hills, as well as just taking it easy in the peaceful surroundings. Tarragona is just over half an hour away with lots to do and see. Topped off by a visit to the garden from the local herd of goats on our last evening."

"Casa acogedora en ubicación tranquila. Los alrededores son bonitos y la zona de piscina y barbacoa muy agradable. Hay que tener en cuenta que la casa se calienta mediante chimenea en invierno, pero nos dieron toda la leña que necesitamos. El agua de los grifos es filtrada del río, por lo que nosotros preferimos llevar agua embotellada."

"An amazing place. An hour and a half north of Barcelona and very near Ripoli, lies this peaceful and bucolic retreat from the world. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and views that don’t stop. My family and I enjoyed two nights here and we would recommend it to anyone. The host and his wife (who live on site) are great and you stay in a renovated 17th century farmhouse passed down in his family. "This place is such a gem. It’s incredibly private, surrounded by farm land. Despite its privacy, you are 5 mins from a fantastic local grocery store with local produce and meat. The house is so artistically restored, with beautiful mementos and artifacts around the house. My family really felt like they were staying in a fantastic, beautiful family home for a week. "Ha sido todo muy correcto hasta que, el último día y después del check out pedimos a Joan quedarnos un rato en la piscina. Nos dijo que por supuesto y cuando ya nos íbamos del hotel vino la mujer de Joan con muy malas formas a decirnos que no podíamos estar allí después del check out y que teníamos que pagar 10€ por adulto. Por supuesto dijimos que no pagaríamos nada, nos habían dicho que podíamos estar allí sin problema y nadie nos habló de un cargo adicional. Nos ha tratado con muy mala...

"Nous sommes venus pour faire la course VTT VOLCAT d'Igualada, nous ne sommes resté que 3 jours. Mais le gîte est agréable et bien tranquille dans un petit village à 20-25min d'Igualada. Le propriétaire du gîte est très compréhensif et arrangeant. Le gîte était impeccable avec toutes les commodités. Je recommande !!!"

"We stayed with 2 young children and 6 adults and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and in a good shape, and the aircon works very well in that hot time. On foot we could reach the old awesome town. Thanks a lot to Mick."
