"What a find! This quiet little corner of Carcassone was so close to the walled city, yet was beautiful to stay at, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the pool was a fantastic spot to cool off in the afternoon. Plus, the decor of the rooms was fantastic (our was hot pink and orange). Could not have been happier with our stay at Hotel Montmorency!"

"No dinner service because it was a weekend. Came down for breakfast around 7:30-8:00 and every table had dirty dishes on it, while staff were just hanging out at the front desk. I had to bus a table myself then scramble around looking for clean dishes to eat on. Noticed staff pointing at me and talking about me rather than helping me. Worst service I had my entire 3 week trip to 3 countries."

"The Chaumiere is really the only good hotel in this area, decor feels a little set in the 1990's, but facilities are great and the set menu at the restaurant is a real treat. It has a nice casual feel and a very attentive owner/manager"

"Really enjoyed our stay. The gite is situated in a picturesque spot in the hills above Couiza and was a good base for visiting the Cathar castles, local towns and villages. The gite was very clean and well equipped. We had plenty of space to relax in after our trips out, good garden area & barbecue. Annie-Claude and her husband were very welcoming and helpful, with good advice about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carl & David "

"We normally do the all inclusive holidays but this year decided to drive and stay in a villa.
Matt the host was always available if both pre during and post our stay for any questions issue concerns we had.
We were not disappointed with this property this is massive an as family of 7 we never felt we were on top of each other.
It is beautiful and our kids were in there element the lol was great the same room is perfect and we never wanted to come home we will be visiting again.
