"We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The house was well equipped and plenty of space both inside and out. We enjoyed using the built in barbecue. The location was perfect - 5 mins walk from the beach and 10mins walk from the town."

The sheets were very old and faded and there were no towels (despite them being specifically mentioned on the apartment description). We were told by the owner that we were entitled to compensation for this since we had had to buy our own, but this has not happened. "We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. "This could be a lovely place to stay, but was a little tired. The kitchen was poor and lots of its contents were dirty. We had a problem with the pool, which again was ok but lots of broken tiles and we did have an algae problem. As I said it could be a great place, but it lacks love. For the price I expect better than an ikea kitchen or bedding - that said we did have a good time."

"Das Haus liegt in einer gepflegten Ferienanlage mit Tiefgarage in Nähe zum Meer und zum Zentrum von La Flotte. Man kann zu Fuß alle Einkäufe erledigen oder Essen gehen. Der Check-in und die Informationen vom Vermieter waren sehr unkompliziert und es war alles gut beschrieben. Eventuelle Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet. "Erholsam, ruhig. Das Haus passt gut für 4 Personen und ist schön eingerichtet. Tolle Terrasse und schöner Garten! Lage super für Radtouren, mit dem Rad sind es nur wenige Minuten zu einem der schönsten Strände der Insel. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin und der Verwalterin hat bestens geklappt. Die Sauberkeit liess etwas zu wünschen übrig, da die Vormieter putzen. Aber dafür kann ja die Besitzerin nichts. "

"We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. We would recommend the house to other large family groups!"

Slight shame that bedrooms look out on parking area. Ars is a lovely village with shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants and it’s a great base for exploring the island. "We loved our stay. It's a great location tucked away but a short way from the harbour. "Good communication about how to access the property as I arrived after reception closed. The apartment was well equipped and it was ideal for one or two people, but though it claimed to be for 4, two couples would have found it very uncomfortable, with one couple in the double bed and the second couple inches away on the sofa bed. It was disappointing to arrive at 11am and have to make up my own bed, and though the hotel was far from full when I arrived, I was given a room which looked out onto a square at the back and had a footpath running along right outside my window. Apartments looking onto the gardens (which I have had in the past) would have been much better. On the day of departure Reception were helpful in looking after my bags until I left St Martin in the afternoon."
