"This was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. The simple and rustic Miner's Cabin had all the necessary amenities in a rustic cabin. The historical documents and mining gear were also really neat to peruse. We were able to retreat from our crazy busy lives and spend time reading, talking, listening to podcasts and sitting on the porch. Thank you to the excellent hosts for letting us stay!"

"We stayed here in February for a few nights with our two kids (6 & 3). We had a wonderful time. It was great for day trips to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome and Cottonwood. We felt very safe here and had plenty of room to relax. Nice tv in the living room, a few games for the kiddos and a wonderful porch to relax on. "

"This cabin is so well stocked in the kitchen and all the extra blankets we needed for the cold weather. There is plenty of room for a larger family staying together and room to explore outside. One of my favorite places I have stayed at through VRBO. Host was easy to communicate with "

"This is a great location. The trail leading down to the creek was a real treat. The house is comfortable and easy to access. We had a temporary issue with the hot water but was able to resolve it ourselves. Our puppies really enjoyed being able to have so many places to sniff and explore. The caretaker, John, was a super nice guy. "

"Appliances are in great shape. Master bed was comfortable. It was nice that shampoo, conditioner and body wash were stocked in bathrooms. Couches and carpet were a bit worn, but everything else was in good shape. Having never been to Sedona and entering the drive at night with all of the private property signage made us think we may have entered the incorrect property, but it was correct! We even had Blue Apron deliver a Thanksgiving meal and the FedEx driver found it! Overall, it was a great...

"For a single or couple, its perfectly located from the front door to a very very short walk in Old Town Cottonwood. Facinating history of the location going back to Prohibition. The 'cabin' is only a few years old. I tuned the guitar before I left for anyone to play. Keeping this place on file for a getaway Staycation."
