Minus: staff not very helpful ...a bit of a sicilian version of Fawlty Towers. The shower was full of mould and the toilet seat was broken. Squeaky bed...not great for a romantic weekend."

"The property is indeed unique- a very modern and nicely fitted out hotel, hidden away in a crumbling atmospheric palazzo. My bed was comfortable, my water hot, my sockets all working. It fely very safe, breakfast was nice, the staff excptional. Very close to the station, but on a main street in the old city. Only disadvantage: no lift. So for people who can't do stairs, it's ill advised. I loved the hotel and would certainly choose it again."
