"We stayed for two nights over the new year to help our dog and newborn baby cope better with the fireworks -- Germany has crazy loud fireworks. We had one of the inner facing business rooms on the fifth floor. Our dog was able to make it through the fireworks in Berlin for the first time without hyperventilating and shivering himself into throwing up. We are so grateful. Our newborn was well accommodated with a baby bed and the dog fee of 25€ a night go us a dedicated dog bed, can of dog food, some treats, and water and food bowls. It was a really enjoyable trip and we also managed to keep everyone rested and mostly relaxed through the loud fireworks. If braving the new year celebrations with a pup or baby, highly recommend bringing a sound machine, lots of extra dog treats and getting the walks in earlier in the day before the fireworks start going more frequently in the early evening. "
