"Family of 4 short stay - we had a lovely 4 days at Le Panorama. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The lounge and dining area are very relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are ok. In need of a little modernizing but were warm and functional. The swimming pool was at the end of a strange spiral staircase but the water was warm and good after skiing. Good location with easy access to town."

"lovely friendly helpful staff, and the gentleman that was on reception when we arrived was most welcoming cheerful and spoke excellent English. the hotel is well located 2 mins walk to shops restaurants and bars and the town itself is about 10 min drive to ski slopes. the hotel was clean comfortable and charming with a superb restaurant, some parts in need of a little up-dating but overall depicts its architectural decade, and the musical entertainment and free aperitif was most enjoyable!"

"I can't fault L'Ajasserie - I visited last year under the previous owner and, if anything, it's improved already under its new owner and she's only just getting started. I felt completely welcome and catered for, and treated as an individual rather than a number on a balance-sheet. Top marks."

"The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. "The Gran Carlina is well situated in town and had free parking which was a bonus. The exterior of the hotel is in a very bad condition and needs major renovation. We were seriously concerned what the inside would be like! The interior was better but dated and a little tired, the same with the bedroom but it was clean. Breakfast when the hotel is not busy was fine but one morning the restaurant was busy and the staff struggled to keep hot dishes replenished. We had to wait 20 minutes for...

"The people running the hotel are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. The hotel itself is older and the room was small but it was also inexpensive. They ask us not to flush the toilet or shower after 10pm, because the plumbing is old, but it is disclosured up front. The town is nice and the area beautiful. We hiked a lot."
