The staff at Holiday Inn Gulou were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Melody and her staff went above and beyond to help me and make sure I was given the best service. The room was nice, and the hotel is in a great location. I will definitely stay again next time I go to Chengdu.

It’s a wonderful place to stay while in Chengdu. The staff here are courteous and efficient. The small things, like fruit in our room, was a nice touch. We enjoyed everything during our stay. Even the pillows had stitched-in notes informing us what kind of pillows they were. The attention to detail made our stay extra nice.

Value for money and the breakfast is good. A short 8 mins walk to 2 nearby metro stations. Will come back to Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Gulou in the future.

The most outstanding part of this hotel is its breakfast buffet! They have chef quality Sichuan food, not the American Sichuan food that is covered with chili. Real Sichuan food is fresh ingredient, and the purpose of the cooking is to bring out the flavors of the food. They have such a huge layout of the buffet, would take three average stomaches to get one sample of each
