"I booked a room with shared bathroom and it turned out there was a mistake that the room was already booked. I got upgraded to a room with en-suite for free which was great. The room was very clean and nice. But the only strange thing is that I had to throw away the rubbish myself."

Nothing comes close to this place, absolute dump, mold all over the upstairs, rubbish still on the floor looks like the cleaner gave up years ago. "Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails."

"Joe and I had a wonderful stay at The Shed. The space and size were perfect and exactly what we were looking for in a English countryside cottage stay. The bed was comfortable. "Lovely cottage perfect for two people. The cleanliness was perfect and we had everything we needed. Hosts were accommodating, welcoming and friendly. Location of property is great to explore Forest of Dean, there is plenty to do nearby. Definitely recommend! "
