My first room smelled like pot and so they kindly switched me. The second had light fixtures and wall switches that were falling apart. Plus I felt unsafe as a room with the elevator just feet from my door.

We enjoyed our stay at the Whitehall hotel. The staff were friendly at check in and check out. The room was just what we needed. It was convenient to have a restaurant in the same building. It was within walking distance to shopping, the river walk, and boat rides.

The property had so much character and was very comfortable, all at a great price. The only bad things about our stay was that the front desk was clearly understaffed and some light switches in our room were broken.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The historical significance of the property has been respected and preserved. The beds, including the sheets, blankets and pillows were first class. I am thankful I did not pay attention to the negative reviews I had read when booking our hotel. This was my first experience booking through expedia and have nothing but positive feedback to offer.

There was no full size mirror in the room. There was no refrigerator or microwave oven in the room. Some staff members were helpful but some were really very rude. The hotel is at a great location and close to the The Mile. There are better hotels around for the same price.
