"The hotel is beautiful. Very elegant. First class. During my visit the service union that serves the hotel was on strike and picketing outside the hotel entrance. They were horrible! Shouting loudly and banging on metal oil cans from 6am to 10pm. They were obnoxious. It is hard to have sympathy for them. The hotel was otherwise first rate. "

The area wasn't as safe as I expected and its clear the hotel had been redone to look newer but that staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is pretty accessible - there is a small step to get into the shower and no grab bars. So things to keep in mind for disabled/older folks.
