"A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

"We were initially super excited to come to this hotel after seeing pics and it’s high ratings but when we arrived we noticed immediately that we were a burden. The staff was not as friendly as the other hotels and even though we were the only ones there (slow tourist season) every time I asked for something I was made to feel like I was bothering them despite the fact that I speak and am Italian. "Never have I had to leave a hotel. We planned to celebrate my birthday at the agriturismo, the day before they emailed to say there was the option to eat by the pool. When we arrived there was no one to greet us, took about 20mins to find someone that worked there. We were then showed to our room. "This is an 18th century house converted into a quaint inn. Very nice. Easy walk to the ruins. Pleasant staff. The restuarant was pricey and pretentious for supper. (We did the multi-course meal, but later wished we just ordered somethings that were less exotic.) Sit down breakfast in the old wine celler was great."
