The place feels old - not quite disrepair and not overly dirty, but not new/clean. I have no idea why anyone would give it 10 star scores. At it's best, it's a,"you get what you pay for it" kind of place, but it's on the low end of that scale and you can do better probably not much further away. Especially in winter, there is nothing to do here or anything close. It's prob 6 blocks away from the highway exit/on-ramp, so a decent "in and out," but that's the best thing going for it. It's 1-2 miles away from the closest mini-marts that felt sketchy. I felt safe at the hotel, but I don't recommend staying here to save a few bucks.

The location was good. We had easy access to all our planned activities. It was pretty quiet and the staff we encountered were so great. The parking was ok. We have a handicap and parking in a handicap was very limited. Entering the building was a challenge. First of all other guests were smoking right outside the doors and between the smoke and the smell of the cigarettes it was not pleasant nor healthy trying to walk loaded down with luggage and bags to get into the building. Our room was very clean and nice. We had plenty of space and plenty of hot water. Basics for cooking, food prep, and dinnerware were very wee provided. Bath supplies incl hair dryer were great. We had a great experience except for the smokers and smoke.
