"A beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. Staff so welcoming and friendly, all staff approachable and helpful from dining to leisure staff. Food was excellent, my partner says the scrambled egg for breakfast was the best he ever had! Such a variety on offer from breakfast, including gluten free and all dietary requirements provided for. The swimming pool child friendly and also perfect for couples and adults to escape for a bit! The rooms were clean and spacious, with lovely details such as fresh water available around the whole complex. We will be staying again, so much to do in the surrounding areas, only a short drive from so many places and such a lovely place to return to at the end of the day! "

"I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their exceptional service was truly the highlight of my stay. The amenities are fantastic! The pool was pristine and perfect for a relaxing dip, while the hot tub was an absolute treat after a long day of exploring. "Great open space for socialising with a bar, restaurant, pool table and TV's. Small area with kids toys to entertain the little ones too. Most of the staff were freindly, with only one member of staff telling the kids to keep the noise down. That was the only annoying thing, as there were no other guests present other than our party of about 15 people, so I'm not sure who stood to benefit from the 6 kids reducing the noise, when they were just being normal kids playing hide and seek. All in all, good stay and i'd definitely recommend the hotel."

"We booked a one-night stay at Norton Grange Hotel while attending a friend’s birthday party nearby and opted for a privilege room at a very reasonable rate. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our stay included access to the leisure facilities and spa, which was a wonderful bonus. The room itself was well-equipped with everything we needed – a fully stocked fridge with soft drinks, a Nespresso machine, and even toiletries like toothbrushes and shavers, in case we had forgotten anything. Breakfast was perfect, with a buffet offering a wide variety of options. We requested poached eggs, which the staff happily prepared fresh for us. The checkout time of 12 PM gave us a little extra time to enjoy the spa before leaving – the perfect way to end our stay. I only wish we had more time to make the most of it, but unfortunately, we had to rush back for my son’s football match. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend Norton Grange Hotel for a relaxing and comfortable getaway! "

"We were at the Last Drop for a wedding and didn't experience too much of the hotel but the bedroom was clean, breakfast was plentiful and my wife enjoyed half an hour in the hot tub. "

"This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time we visited the East Lancashire Railway, this time we had an event at the AO arena in Manchester. It’s a 7 minute drive into Bury. Park at the metro station and into Manchester. Staff friendly and welcoming. Hotel is modern, the showers are great. The family room is spacious. Plenty of spaces in the car park. We will come back and stay here again. "

"Good hotel. Reception not manned 24h so you have to call the receptionist on a mobile number and this wasn't very late at night TBF and he did arrive quite quickly and also became the baramnwhic was handy. The room was very quiet, well equipped it's just the noisy maids and their loud Wigan accents and laughter you have to put up with but not too bad if your NOT wanting a lie in. Over all , great value for money and a very nice hotel in a lovely setting."
