"This trip was my fourth time visiting Shephard's. I love the vibe of this hotel. Valet parking is top notch, always making sure they are fast and efficient. Hotel staff is always making sure you are satisfied. The pool area/beach are so relaxing and well maintained. The convenience of food, drinks, restaurants, beach and activities is why I keep coming back! The entertainment during the afternoon and evening are great, always keeping you on your feet! If you're looking for a more quiet night, make sure you book street view, Otherwise you'll be dancing all night long :)"

"This was my first time visiting Opal Sands. The resort and staff are wonderful! I will visit again. During our stay, there was a LOT of construction noise. (Jack hammers, beeping service vehicles, concrete cutting, etc). My husband and I found ourselves leaving each day to escape the construction noise which was coming from all angles. Taking an afternoon nap was definitely not an option. When all the construction is complete the resort will be absolute perfection! The heated pool was amazing also! "

"We only stayed at this property for one night. We got there late in the evening and left in the morning for an early flight. Our room was wonderful and very clean. I don’t know about the neighborhood, as we didn’t get to experience it. Everything else seemed to be very good."
