"The room was huge! Separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate shower, large open concept kitchen, living room. Large balcony with great ocean view. Crickets at night. We stayed one night; before our cruise. Would stay there again. Only downside was we had to check out at 12 noon (which is still reasonable) but our embarkation is only at 5. We could have extended our stay but at 15 euros per hour. In CDN$ that’s quite steep."

"It's impossible to say how GREAT this property is. The staff is one of the best hotel staff I've ever encountered. They were incredible. The rooms are actually large houses with pools, wonderful design half open and half closed. Fantastic style. Wonderful breakfast. Super facilities. Fantastic location. "We liked our stay at La Pagerie a lot. It’s an easy walk from the ferry, and in a busy lively area. The staff spoke good English, and check in was easy. Our room had good air conditioning and a big comfy bed. The balcony and coffee making area was also a nice addition. The grounds were well maintained - look for the pet tortoise’s little pen! "The description is over exaggerated. The place is clean but old. Towels were old. Breakfast was good. If you are looking for a cheap stay then this place is for you. I would rather pay a few more $. There's not much in the area other than by the marina, approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel."

"Loved the grounds and greenery. Easy to walk along the beach in both directions to St. Luce or Trois Rivières. Would have been nice to be given the map we received from Marie-Line at checkin and to be advised St. Luce was only a 20 min walk along the beach. The Superette on site was very overpriced and did not have any fresh produce."

"Beautiful view from the top of a big, steep hill. Lovely room and pool. Regrettably, we didn’t have a rental car so we were at the mercy of expensive and hard To find taxis, and the Bus system was difficult to understand, no fault of the property of course. Staff there were so kind trying to help me understand how and when And where to get a bus … and to Get a taxi when needed. "

"Difficult to find the first time, once we adjusted to the Island beat we adored our location our pool and the Villa layout. The common living room made for valued interaction with other guests. Anaelle the host is lovely cheerful and efficient. A wonderful 8 days away from the snow mountains."

"This was a very beautiful property, felt very authentic and well kept. The front desk lady (Kincy) was spectacular, she was very helpful and very kind. She went above and beyond to satisfy the customers with a very welcoming attitude. The cleaning ladies and waiters were also very nice and professional but warm. I would definitely recommend this establishment. The location is a bit remote but with a car nothing is really far. It is nice and quiet! "

"Our experience at the villa was absolutely incredible. From the room to the breathtaking view, the private pool, the outdoor shower, and the thoughtful amenities, everything exceeded our expectations. The villa was even more impressive than what we had seen online. We were also delighted by the welcoming basket filled with local products—a lovely and personal touch. While the kitchenette lacked an oven and had limited prep space, we managed just fine. However, mid-stay cleaning was not as prompt as expected. Although we were informed that the cleaning staff would handle restocking, the villa was only cleaned on the 8th day of our 10-day stay. By that time, we had already purchased the essentials we needed. Despite this, the overall experience was remarkable and memorable. We would definitely book again."
