This inn isn’t historic, it’s just old, poorly maintained and and the upgrades that were done are shoddy. Our room had a strong disinfectant smell and was damp, the bed frame was old and dilapidated and squeeked and popped all night the TV was coming off the wall and the pillows were smaller than bread loaves and less fluffy. The photos of the facility are deceiving and not indicative of the actual condition of the facility. The only saving grace was the room was inexpensive, but frankly I’d pay more for better, cleaner facilities. I ignored the reviews thinking they were probably exaggerated but it appears they were accurate. I’ve stayed in nicer hotel 6’s. I don’t usually leave reviews but folks need to know what they are getting in to before they spend their money on this facility.

The manager and front desk staff was rude. The rooms are extremely outdated and dirty and room was not able to lock. Certainly did not feel safe. We booked a room but DID not stay.

The only good thing we can say is the place was clean. One employee went out of the way to help is Wesley. He did everything from maintenance to hurricane cleanup, IT help. Unfortunately, property has been allowed to deteriorate over recent years. Our toilet leaked and had to be reset. Toilet ran constantly. Rooms are very dated. The bathroom is tiny barely room for tub and toilet. Sink was in the living area!. No services were available no breakfast, occasionally coffee was available in morning due to eminent H/ Milton. In summary the " only port in a storm".
