"We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2.."

"The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Cartron cottage. We got the warmest Irish welcome from the lovely Kathleen, complete with the best home made brown bread and marmalade. The cottage was spotlessly clean and it contains everything you could possibly require. Thank you Kathleen so much for everything."

"Cannot fault the accommodation or the owners. There was just two of us which was ideal. There was a slight issue of the TV keeping loosing signal but enjoyed the four nights we stayed.?"
