"Coimbra is a very busy city with a lot of traffic that clearly creates ongoing parking challenges and general congestion. The property itself is hard to access but once you’re in, is quite good. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent with a particularly good bathroom. "Nice clean and well located hotel. The room was a bit outdated and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was perfectly fine for one night’s stay. While the mini bar was surprisingly included in my room rate, I was equally surprised to see that there were no amenities provided (body lotion, cotton balls etc). I didn’t try the breakfast."

From the first interaction, they, especially Catarina, were incredibly friendly, helpful and helped us settle right in to Coimbra. Then there's the property itself. The original stone walls and arch ways, the VIEWS and the furnishings are just breathtaking. Out of all the places we stayed in Portugal during our 10 day trip, this was the location we wished we could go back to most. Cannot recommend highly enough. "
