"Our stay at the Ponderosa was everything we wanted it to be. The balcony overlooking the river was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of room to store our luggage. The coffee was delicious. The price was within our budget. We in Broomfield, but needed the mountains and the river to soothe our nervous systems. It was perfect."

The customer service was great with updates via text and calls. When we arrived you could tell it used to be a motel, but they maintain the property. "Excellent communication with the staff and Jess who got us checked in easily over phone and text. The property is a gem situated along a quiet stretch hwy 160 with a private pond and hiking trails. The rooms are updated with kitchens and a living space with a lot of space for our family of four to stretch out. I’d highly reccomend high creek lodge and will be back next trip to Pagosa springs. "

"GH was super convenient - a quick 5-6 minute walk to the lift and the town area with great restaurants and shops. The Public parking garage is across the street which made it also convenient to park your own car ($60 per day). Friendly staff and nice amenities (great hot tub overlooking the creek), sauna, cold plunge and steam room (sadly, it was closed for maintenance). Small restaurant with bar.
