"Very friendly staff. Rooms nice, beds really comfortable. Lovely breakfast area and lounge. Two pubs across the road as a change for evening meals as only booked B&B. We were there on a very hot week but had aircon in rooms. Large free car park which is a bonus round York. Bus services along the main road are frequent. No4 from outside Cross Keys pub takes you into centre which is only 1 and half miles. Would definitely stay again if visiting York. "

"Great room that felt luxurious. Good size pool. Quiet hotel that had everything we needed. Only downside was the chain lock on the door was practically hanging off, but it didn't affect the main lock of the door. "
