"Although basic was warm and comfy there was hairs all over the bathroom and bed from previous person sockets were in odd place and roller blind didn’t work didn’t spoil my stay though I found it pleasant enough easy check in was taken to room explained codes previous reviews said noisy doors slamming ect traffic noise I didn’t experience any of this found it easy to sleep and quiet great location and easy to find "

"Awesome little out of the way cottages, we had a simple over night stay for a birthday and the cottage was perfect. Extremely clean, looked to have just been refurbished with everything needed for a short stay. Lovely few drinks at the Bay horse infront of an open fire, with well priced excellent food. "We had a good stay, when ringing for support to find the entrance and how to enter was very supported and sent all necessary details, free parking close by and isn’t too far a drive away from everything. Very quiet no banging through the night etc. "

"We had a lovely stay. Nice views over the fields. Kitchen well equipped with tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Luxury feel. Enjoyed the hot tub which was warm and ready for us arriving. Would recommend this place and I think we’ll be back."

"Our multi-generational family absolutely loved our stay at Fell End. The house was decorated for Xmas and is beautiful throughout. "We had a spa day which was fabulous and then stayed over. We chose to eat in Charcoa restaurant on the evening. I ordered mince and dumplings and my friend Salmon. The food had obviously been there for sometime. Both meals were cold as were the vegetables. We sent them back and ordered a pizza which was cooked fresh. Everything else about the stay including breakfast was very good."

Overnight Stay at the Royal Station Hotel

Lovely hospitality

"This was a delightful 3-star hotel which gets 5 stars from me in that category. The lovely warm hospitality started upon my check-in. Shout out to Michael for his warm welcome, extremely friendly and welcoming. All his colleagues, the whole team, were really nice too. The room was a decent size, as was the bathroom - just the right size, any smaller and it would’ve been too small. The bed was fine, the mattress was fairly comfortable. The sheets were good enough. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. My room, 206, was at the back of the building so it was quiet. There was some noise from the corridor/other rooms, but none from outside. Overall, the noise wasn’t too bad. The breakfast was great, and the staff were very accommodating. The hotel location is perfect - central and a few minutes’ walk from the station. Overall, excellent. Very happy with my stay."

Great hotel conveniently placed for train

"I thought this was a great hotel. Everything was in excellent condition and very clean and comfortable. Walking distance from the train and metro service is five minutes and there are lots of chain and non-chain restaurants and take away nearby. Room had a table and chairs for eating at or working. Only qualm was I’d have liked a choice of pillows as the ones on the bed were too high for my neck. Other than that, perfect stay. "
