"I was upgraded to the Holiday Inn next door as the International Hotel was closed for the Christmas period. Lovely hotel. Staff excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Overall, very pleasant stay. Only issue was the heating but this was dealt with immediately on request. I would definitely book this hotel again."

"Comfort room was comfortable although not really warm enough when we arrived - we turned the radiator up and eventually it did warm the room reasonably well. To be fair it was a very cold day with snow on the ground. "

"we have stayed here regularly but seems to be under new management-didnt expect breakfast to be an extra and room was clean but a bit dingy -headboard had a tear and paint work needed re doing in some areas-plus they did not have all the decorations they used to have which made the place standout-also after we checked in, on late night return to our room car park was full so had to park in residential road nearby-so will probably lookelsewhere now for our repeat visits to family"

"Was very surprised for the price on my way they rang asked if i was arriving said yes welcome was good signing in good. The room was a twin clean modern new by looks bathroom. Lovely white cotton sheets duvet .t.v. heater so was warm. Entertainment on .breakfast full english good.only comment could do with tea tray in room .will go back highly recomend "
