Lamanai Landings Hotel and Marina
3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (107)
"We enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff at Lamanai Landings Hotel & Resort! They recommended and arranged for us to travel by boat to the Mayan ruins located 25 miles away rather than us driving our rental car over dirt roads to get there. That tour was outstanding! The hotel is on a lake where we saw a manatee from our room’s balcony, which apparently is an unusual occurrence. The room was air conditioned and there was parking on site. There was also a restaurant, but there weren’t other food...

8.0 out of 10, Very good, (3)
"I was back in town for work and had wanted to try the place. Nice cabin, very clean, friendly staff, excellent food in the restaurant. I requested use a bicycle. When I finally received a bicycle the tires were deflated and seat was too low (needed a wrench), and there was no lock. So the bicycle did not work out. I requested assistance with laundry but 3:30p on a Tuesday was too late for a drop off since their laundry service closed at 5p. Of course, I do not fault the staff for that but wish I...

Becks Bed and Breakfast
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (44)
"Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much...

"one problem is the smell that permeates the air from a nearby sugar cane processing plant. It was very obnoxious, and drove us indoors. Loved the group meeting place, the yoga room, pool was indoors, but very nice. Excellent gym. comfortable and pleasant seating out of doors. Incredible staff"
