4/5 - Good

Free entry for National Trust/NTS members, and free parking. Good cafe with lots of choice, and a nice shop. Watch out for the inflated jewellery prices: the Sheila Fleet jewellery, for example, is much cheaper direct and online. The exhibition is good, with opportunity to hear both sides of a conflict, but larger parties often come barrelling through without warning and causing damage and mayhem if you're not swift to move.
