"We were in Curaçao for my husband’s birthday trip.There were 4 couples in total. The house is just as described. This was our 6th visit to the island, but the first staying in this area. The noise restrictions (10pm) and paying for electricity were new for us, but did not dampen the festivities. The house itself is great, other than a few broken utensils, no propane for the outside grill and a non working ceiling fan, everything was as expected. "

There are two other wonderful sitting areas that have no wind. Location is great. We didn’t try walking to the beach, but seems walkable. Grocery store is very close which is nice as well."

"Our girls’ trip was such fun…the property was very comfortable for the 6 of us! It was easy to get questions answered by the host and property manager. The kitchen had enough basics for our needs. The resort is conveniently located; close enough to airport, Willemstad, and many beautiful beaches. We would love to visit again!! A side note: Be aware of the hills within the resort and many stairs to get to this second floor villa (if anyone in your party has trouble walking/maneuvering steps)"

"The Pearl of Jan Thiel is truly that. Modern villa, clean and well appointed. Landscaping of property provided ample privacy whether in the palapa, the pool or outside seating areas. While we had no issues, staff was available, friendly and attentive. Would definitely return to and recommend this property. "The house was absolutely lovely. Plenty of room for our family of five. The bedroom and bathroom on the first floor was perfect for my elderly mom. Full size kitchen with all the bells and whistles allowed us to prepare family meals when we wanted to stay home. When we chose to venture out, almost everything was within a 15-20 minute drive. Roland was very responsive to every request and we look forward to staying here again."
