This was probably one of the worst vacations I’ve ever been on. The food was terrible. Off the resort it was only a little better. The WiFi didn’t work well, it took three hours for room service, the water got cut off, the beach is in unbearably rocky. The taxis were ridiculously expensive. I wish I had more positive things to say. The best thing I ate on the resort were chicken nuggets. There is NO PREMIUM liquor. Curacao will never see me again and I will never recommend a Carendon property in my life. I upgraded to the Rif and it was even worse……save your money

Highly disappointed especially knowing this the resort was a Hilton property. The resort was in very rough conditions and needs remodeling throughout. The food was terrible and if it was in the US the food and health department would shut the place down. Just seeing the conditions of the food at the pool made me want to throw up. No rom service at an All inclusive even though the resort app promoted it.

I do not recommend it, the service is not good, if you make a reservation for a restaurant you still have to wait in line, they do not respect the time of your reservation, in the buffet there is no service, nobody serves you, you have to look for your own drinks and cutlery, it is not recommended if you want to have quality time and feel happy

The hotel itself is nice, but the service is very poor. We had a broken glass for two days in our room and it took forever to get cleaned. When they cleaned the room they didn’t provide new towels, they hung up the dirty ones I put on the floor that I left for them to take. Also we had a water problem in our room and they didn’t fix it until we left. it was completely flooded all the way to the bed. The buffet ran out of plates and utensils every day even if we got there early. They need to take care of a lot of things, especially the overall attitude of the workers. Our third room we had to wait three hour past the checking time and additional three hours to wait for the extra bed that we pay for.

The hotel is your typical resort. It was nice. Food was ok for all inclusive. Some of the staff was nice and others were rude. Be careful if you explore the town. Don’t go alone. One of those in our party decided to do just that and got mugged. Not worth exploring. Just stay in the resort.

Overall displeased with stay but made the most of it. As walking into room the was a hole in the wall that was not properly patched up. Elevator was out of service every other day. Had to wait in line for an hour to get to special restaurants, no reservations. The buffet was a hit or miss. Family enjoyed international night with a large variety of food choices. Different cultures (staff) so may come across as rude for some people. Nice pool and decent beach kind of small. Reminded to have water shoes, very rocky. Hotel has loading dock for cruises so can be very busy at times. If looking for luxury this is not the place to go.

The rooms need renovated. We had to switch rooms because it was a hole in the wall, nasty marks on wall and door. It wasn’t appealing to look at while on vacation. Rooms needed detailed cleaning, our headboard had dust on it, mirrors were dirty, safety box was rusty. We had to keep requesting towel service after room cleaning. The staff seemed predominantly young and short of staff . The pool area were disgusting and the area was unsanitary . Food was almost in the water. Used cups were stacking along the pool line. Outside the pool bar, it’s only 1 other bar which was decent. However the staff was friendly. The BBQ and Seafood dining was amazing. The breakfast hours are extended to 11am which is great. Dinner ends at 3am. Easy checkin and checkout. The resort has great potential to be the nicest on the island with a few upgrades and work.

This was my first experience at an all-inclusive resort. I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful it was. The staff was very friendly and spoke several languages. I really enjoyed the karaoke at night, It was memorable.The buffet had a great arrangement of foods for all different cultures. Overall, I had a very nice experience. I would like to point out that the main pool although very beautiful had a lot of dark mildew on the wall near the stairs, which made me question how often they clean it. I would definitely recommend this place for someone. There is shopping nearby and we walked to town and crossed a beautiful little bridge to this lovely little neighborhood and ate a very nice restaurants. I would definitely recommend someone go to this property.

Mangrove Beach Corendon Resort - A Disappointing Experience Our stay at Mangrove Beach Corendon Resort was far from the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. The resort left much to be desired, and unfortunately, we encountered several major issues during our time there. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the property was highly questionable. The grounds were not well-maintained, and to our shock, we noticed rats running around in certain areas—a major red flag for any guest. This left us feeling uncomfortable and concerned about hygiene standards throughout the resort. The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested and annoyed when approached, making us feel like we were inconveniencing them whenever we had a question or request. Basic hospitality was sorely lacking, which significantly affected the overall atmosphere. The bar staff appeared untrained, struggling to make even the simplest cocktails. This was particularly frustrating, as a good drink is often a highlight of any resort experience. As for dining, the food was a letdown. The buffet offered a very limited selection, and the food from the other restaurants was subpar. We eventually gave up on eating at the resort entirely and opted to dine elsewhere, which was an extra expense and inconvenience. Overall, Mangrove Beach Corendon Resort failed to deliver on its promise of a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

DISGUSTING! WORST HOTEL EVER – DESERVES -5 STARS! Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton, is an absolute disgrace and a complete waste of money. I’ve been to several all-inclusive resorts, and this place BY FAR has the WORST buffet I have ever experienced. The food was cold, tasteless, and looked like it had been sitting out for hours—if not days. It was an insult to call it a “meal.” The entire hotel is FILTHY. My room was disgusting—dirty sheets, trash left behind, and a horrible smell that made it impossible to relax. When I politely requested to be moved to another room, they completely ignored me. No response, no effort, nothing. The staff is incompetent and couldn’t care less about their guests. The lobby and common areas were just as bad. The foyer smelled like a garbage dump, with a stench so overpowering it made me nauseous. It’s shocking that anyone could think this was acceptable for guests. And the customer service? A TOTAL JOKE. The staff is rude, lazy, and unprofessional. They have absolutely no idea how to treat guests or handle complaints. It’s as if they’re trained to ignore people and hope they go away. This was, without a doubt, the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If I could rate it lower than zero, I would. A -5-star rating doesn’t even begin to describe how bad it was. Do yourself a favor—STAY AWAY from Mangrove

The live entertainment really should be moved away from the rooms. Too loud, too late. Some of us start early and want to relax in the evening. Really the only bad part about our stay, great spot - great people - lots to do close by. Would definitely go back.

Cons- Checking in took too long, no guidance or lines to guide those that are checking in. Kind of free for all situation. No designated areas to take your plates when finished with food. Allowed birds to stand on tables and pick on food. Meaning bird poop. Pool Bar packed don't acknowledge you're there. Sheets smelled humid. Need to go through app to put in requests rather than calling in. Sometimes requests were not addressed. Pros- Some staff were super friendly. Lots of food options at the buffet. Area/location very nice and walking distance to town. Modern rooms, good working ac, and hot water. Call outs- essential items sold at store are expensive. Make sure to take feminine hygiene products, bugs spray, and pepto, etc.
