"Great location in the middle of everything but off the main street, which is a bit of a madhouse. The accommodations were very quiet and staff friendly. Also, they have a nice property on the lake with garden, that was quiet and no one there! Highly suggest the restaurant a couple doors down with outdoor seating not on the main drag. Hiking in the hills past Salt Mine tour is HIGHLY suggested. No one is there with many waterfalls, rushing rivers and incredible scenery. Avoid the crowds and you’ll have a pleasant stay!"

"This property was the perfect place to stay in beautiful Rothenburg ob de Taube! It's rustic and history rich decor felt warm and inviting the moment we stepped in. Our room was beautifully decorated and the terrace had a stunning view of the surrounding area. We even had a stork nest on the rooftop nextdoor! The room was clean, very comfortable, spacious, bed was cozy and bathroom big. The breakfast was also very delicious. We can't wait to come back!!"

"This property is beautiful, however be aware that you need to pay for every little thing once on site. If you run out of soap, dishwasher pods, want clean towels, or in our case, need more toilet paper, it all costs extra. I don’t mind having to pay for some things, but I’ve never been asked to pay for toilet paper anywhere else in the world and I have to say, it slightly soured my experience. The property is beautiful and the staff were great, I just think for the price I should not have to buy my own toilet paper. "

"The location of the house is excellent. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, bakery, groceries, train station etc. The house is spacious and we especially enjoyed grilling. The host was very hospitable and extremely helpful. We would love to come back."

"We enjoyed staying at this resort. We stayed in one of the larger rooms in the main lodge. The place was huge! One bathroom, washer/dryer, two beds, a living room, kitchen and a perfect balcony with a view of the lake and mountains. We stayed only two nights and didn't use the kitchen, but we can see this would be a great place to stay for a while. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant while spending the days exploring nearby attractions. Evening walks around the lake area and a beer on the patio were the perfect end to our days exploring the Hallstatt area."
