"Fantastic stay in a beautiful part of Edinburgh. Property has gorgeous period features, warm and cozy, extremely clean, lovely bar and breakfast room with superb views. Breakfast choice was great and delicious. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful, will definitely be back."

"I was a bit sceptical about this place because of the price I should not of been worried what a wonderful place booked the family a room and it was excellent clean well presented and had all the facilities tea coffee hot chocolate fridge and microwave. Location for us was excellent a tram ride into the center of Edinburgh. How this place can do it for the price I do not know 5***** thanks will use it again when in Edinburgh "

"Great kitchen in the apartment. Liked the location. Walkable to great local pub and conveniences. Lifts would be helpful. Flat was warm. Beds comfy. Just need to make it clear that there is no baggage hold at the property or reception. "

"Edinburgh is very over priced when it comes to hotel rooms. I managed to get this room quite cheap so expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. All the things that you want to be good were good. VERY CLEAN (room and linen) although a shared bathroom, it was a very clean and spacious one. Very very friendly staff. The room furniture was dated a little, but judging a chest of drawers holds no point, as long as it is clean and not broken. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We enjoyed our stay at 6 Brunton Place. The building itself was grand and impressive with very nice decor. Our room was very cosy and comfortable. The continental breakfast had a good selection and wss very tasty. The hotel is well situated and a gentle stroll of 5 to 10 minutes takes you into the city fentre. "

"For the price point of the property you have to go in with certain expectations, I had these expectations altered during my stay, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the host was very kind and helpful. I specifically stayed in the Double Room with King Bed and ensuite and cant fault anything. "

"Vivienne was very helpful and full of information! The house is lovely and right on the bus line to take you to the major attractions (and hop on hop off busses). It’s even walkable. The room was small, but functional, as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Edinburgh!"

"This is an unsafe place to stay. Were advised to park our car within range of cctv. The door of our room had recently been broken into as the lock was badly replaced. Dirty linen on the bed . This is being polite . Very unreliable person managing the property. Avoid at all costs"

"The guest house was exceptionally comfortable and well suited for my stay of 7 days (and would have been well suited for any length of time). The kitchen had everything I would have hoped for as far as being able to prepare my own meals. Dalkeith and environs have lovely parks and I thoroughly enjoyed the discoveries I made of wooded walks and history. I wondered if I would regret not renting a car. In fact, I was easily able to get everywhere I wanted by foot, bus, or train. A comfortable...
