"Room was comfortable. Still needs some updates. Access was great, and was plenty of area to take the dog out. They need to update/repair the doors from outside to halls where rooms were. Some don't latch unless you manually pull them closed, so security could be iffy. Overall, it was an OK "

"The hotel was really clean. The mattress was comfortable. The room was really spacious and had all the amenities we needed. A refrigerator, microwave ironing board, and an iron. The staff were all very friendly. If we come to the Dalles again we will definitely stay here again. "

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."

"Loved the open space and log cabin. Lots to do with games and watched the Olympics. Only had problems with wasps when trying to eat outside during the summer. And wish there were curtains for sleeping areas, since we stayed in August when it was really hot. So glad they had a fan we could use. Overall, we recommend. "

"This property is as advertised. We enjoyed our stay. Things were a bit bumpy for check in when the code didn't work on the electronic lock. The Arrived staffed jumped right on it and were able to provide a different code and we were able to enter the rental. There were no other issues. The view is incredible, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. It was so fun to watch cruise ships, barges, and fishing boats each day."
