"We enjoyed our stay at the property, but service was really lacking. We couldn’t get the jet tub to work, the water came out cold and brown. Restaurant staff didn’t want to assist, welcome or serve. They didn’t want to fetch a coffee from the bar for you, there was no willingness to look after guests. The old guy in the restaurant did nothing except smoke and sit at the bar each service. "We stayed in the tiny house. We enjoyed the privacy of our own little house and own little yard amidst a resort setting. We were treating very warmly by all of the staff. They were the perfect combination of being attentive and leaving us alone. The pool was nice and was very uniquely shaped and just the right temperature. The food that we ordered from the menu was tasty and we were given the option of being able to eat it at the restaurant, near the poolside bar or in our room. We felt very...

"Loved the location - right on the river with two large lovely pools and lots of little secluded areas around the hotel to relax, sunbathe, read a book. Loved the grounds themselves, full of beautiful plants and flowers. Breakfast was quite nice, not the best you'll ever have but wasn't bad. Two bug bears were - no iron (and couldn't borrow one either) and extortionate charge for late checkout (£44 for 4 hours). Having said that, would still go back again (taking a travel iron maybe ha ha)"

"Nice hotel in quiet area & just small walk along river to the main part of the town. Room adequate for stay & kept clean, but needs bit of smartening up. Found a few times in early evening that little or no water for shower. Bar by pool is perfect for a few drinks & Sala is a great barman & looked after everyone well. "
