"Lovely clean property in good location. Our teenagers however were forced to share a room as the owner had blocked off the upper floor. Prior to staying I declined the cleaning package in writing, however the owner tried to add it to the bill when we were leaving."

There’s a choice of local supermarkets, a McDonald’s, a park with mini golf etc. Dieppe is a nice seaside town about 45 minutes drive away, there’s a good theme park about 30 minutes away, the labyrinth maze about 10 mins away and wildlife parks etc too....

"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

Staff very helpful - particularly Blaze (sorry if I've spelt it wrong) who was incredibly friendly and helpful. "We have just enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay. The property is brilliantly located in the middle of town with restaurants, shops and bakery all within a couple of minutes. A great base for exploring the local area. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. There is paid parking near the property. Our elderly uncle did find the stairs very steep so the house is not very suitable with those with limited mobility."

Amazing value, lovely location

"The place is a 3 bed converted barn with a lovely open fireplace and endless wood, great views over the enormous garden and lovely French furniture, a 2 minute walk from the sea and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen and bathroom was clean, although we shared the place with a few cobwebs. Our host left us warm apple cake and homemade jam and kindly brought us towels when we contacted her. We stayed in September for a few nights, with three kids (3-10) and 2 dogs. They had a lovely stay, there was plenty of space to run around. Our long weekend was very enjoyable and very good value. "
