The views out of the window were spectacular of the river, the cathedral and castle with vast colourful sunsets. Breakfast food was plentiful and good quality. A nice relaxing experience. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Overall a great stay! The only downsides were : PARKING £14 per day so £42 for 3 nights. Seemed excessive especially as no discount for longer stays. ...

"Looked for a cheap overnight hotel in Middlesbrough, and found Longlands. Rooms were simple, shared toilets and showers as advertised, but clean and tidy. There was a problem with the boiler, affecting the central heating, but the receptionist provided a portable electric heater when it couldn't be sorted. Showers were electric so worked, and were nicely fitted out. I added the breakfast, which was really good value. "
