" The hotel is in a good location, and is ideal for the town centre, my satnav directed me to it with ease. Upon arrival, check in was quick and efficient. Initially I parked on street using the English language enabled parking meter and card payment. I then used the hotel car park, which was quite expensive, for our two day stay. "Booked a single yet given a double for the same price as off season and hotel more or less empty. Room nice and warm (it needed to be as freezing outside). The hotelier, Pieter, was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. "

However, Natalie had prepared for this eventuality and had sent us the code for the locked box in which our entry cards had been placed and access to our rooms was gained. This hotel has good access to the coastal tramway and there were sufficient bars and cafe's around to slake our thirst. I would use this hotel again."

"We had to park about a mile from the hotel and drag our cases as the resort was full. Reception was chaotic. First we were given an occupied room, then one smaller than booked with no garden view or balcony. After complaining we finally got a larger room but with no balcony or garden view. The rooms were clean but wifi did not work. Would not recommend"
