The deluxe king room was spacious and had great views. 2nd floor vaulted ceiling made room feel even more spacious. Restaurant/bar on property good variety and friendly, quick service. Only complaint which is a personal issue is the hotel transportation route. The service they provide to and from the park and town is great, however from Denali Bluffs the transport then goes to Grand Denali which is very high up and not good on those who aren't fond of heights on public transportation. After the first ride up the hill which consist of multiple switchbacks we changed our plans so we wouldn't have to do again.
Arriving by train and having check-in combined with the shuttle ride up to the hotel was super slick. My room was giant, had a great view, and was clean and comfy.
Only downside: the shuttle into the park took forever, and I ended up walking instead most of the time. If you aren't there as part of a cruise/tour, just be prepared for most of the guests to be cruise ship people.
Very nice hotel room relatively close to Denali. Outside propane fire pit did not work. When staff was asked about this we were told they were out of propane and probably wouldn’t be getting any more as the end of the season was approaching. We felt that if we paid the same as earlier summer guests we should have the same amenities. Otherwise it was a good stay and would stay again.
Love the view, accessible to downtown area about 10 minutes.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Rooms are tiny, beds are quite uncomfortable and there’s not much space to open bags/store stuff.
Despite location views from room are terrible - just overlook other rooms instead of outdoors.
There are some convenient food options - esp grab and go early in the morning and they have a shuttle service to the park.
The property is one of the closest to the Denali entrance with an hourly shuttle to Denali you can walk to Denali, takes about an hour to reach the visitor center
There is a small strip of shops near the hotel but need to walk down a steep hill to get there
No sinage directing us from train to shuttle. Our shuttle was at the far end of the parking area of many busses. There was a sign on dashboard of very large bus. It might not have been used because it was pretty windy.
Very close to the park which was a plus. It was fine place to stay but given the price I was disappointed. The room was basic. We walked to a number of other resorts which had better amenities on site (i.e. sitting room in lobby and outdoors, scenic views etc.) Overall, just okay.
Limited parking in front of hotel. As property is on hill, may be somewhat difficult walking up and down to parking lot.
Like that they have dinning option at property.
