OUR APPROACH TO HOSTING:
We aren't a big corporation doing this for every last dollar.

Instead, we are a couple that does this to create amazing experiences for others like we have had traveling all over.

We take a very "ancient Greece" approach to hosting in that we see welcoming guests as an absolute honor.

CELL PHONE SERVICE:
Depending on provider it can be a little spotty with no bars in some places of the house and only one or two in others.

We have high speed internet so simply turn on wi-fi calling on your phone and enjoy full calling and texting service.

"This is the perfect romantic getaway, tucked into the gorgeous rockies 40 mins from downtown Denver, and 7 minutes to amazing restaurants.

LIVING SPACES:

Open the door to this 2,000 sqft log cabin and you will walk into the quintessential mountain escape that combines classic log construction with modern amenities.

You will immediately be captured by the mountain views through the near floor to ceiling windows that overlook the two acre property.

As you enter, the open floorplan starts with a decadently cozy living area and romantic fireplace, wood burning stove – complimentary firewood and flat screen smart TV!

But, you can also enjoy the fire from the custom oversized island dining area, which seats 6 and is the perfect perch at the heart of this home!

In the kitchen, the immaculate stainless steel appliances and the mountain views make every meal prep a pleasure.

You will want to grab your first mug of morning coffee and head out onto the massive wraparound deck though – to watch the sun rise over the mountain, take in the fresh air, and maybe even see some wildlife just steps from the door.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:

-Bedroom 1 (Upstairs Loft): Queen with private bathroom
-Bedroom 2 (Main Floor): Queen with bathroom right next door
-Bedroom 3 (Main Floor): Trundle with 2 twins and bathroom across the hallway

The upstairs queen loft is above the main living area with a windows and skylight that allow you to see the stars and massive pines as you go to sleep. As you rise in the morning you are greeted with mountain views through the massive windows in the main living area.

Two additional bedrooms are on the main floor.

The first is a simple and cozy room with a queen bed and private heating to quickly adjust the room to the perfect sleeping temperature.

The larger second room contains a trundle bed (bottom may be pushed under or our) that easily accommodates up to two additional guests. It too has individual temperature control.

The bathroom for these two rooms is beautifully redone with a massive tub in addition to new vanity, toilet, and beautiful finishes.

PLAYROOM & LAUNDRY:
The entire downstairs is for kiddos to have some fun and the clean up that comes with it.

Kiddos can have all the fun drawing and playing while the grown ups are just one flight of stairs away.

The laundry area is still a work in progress in terms of finishes, but the washer and dryer both work flawlessly and the area completely safe.

You’ll be spending as much time as you can on the huge wrap-around deck, enjoying every moment of the mountain views, trees, and even wildlife!

Room to explore?
100%. The property sits on 2 acres that you are welcome to walk about. Feel free to grab a blanket and retreat to the bottom of the property for a picnic where you can hear and see a babbling creek across the street.

A little cold?

Gather around the fire pit wrapped in a blanket and soak in all the nature around you.

A little warm?
We are very fortunate up here in the mountains to have very temperate summer weather.

It's low humidity. There's typically a constant breeze. Even the two hottest months of the year, July and August average highs and lows of 81/48 and 79/46 respectively.

Windows open with fans typically keep it plenty cool but in the event of some kind of heat wave we will certainly provide window AC units which will cool down this property quickly.

Kiddos?

There's a fantastic tree house with their name on it and plenty of property to explore. We also have plenty of games and such for the whole family.

Hot tub?

NOT YET...the house came with one but it's not operational at the moment. We are working on it!

We will update this with a timeline once it's concrete, but our expectations are for it to be ready in the spring of this year (2025).

Grill?
Yup. Fire up the propane Weber and enjoy the scenery as you make a fine meal.

After a day of fun, wind down with a meal in the new kitchen and a warm hot chocolate as you cozy up next to the wood burning stove.
